Planning to Read

TBR

This will get added to regularly – if people will insist on telling me about fantastic books, then I am going to want to read them for myself! Fingers crossed that my local library will remain open so that I can loan books, or that my family and friends will continue to pass books to me…

Since joining the NetGalley site I have become a huge fan of the ARC. Browsing the virtual shelves of the bookstore that has books not yet published is like the dream I had when I was little that I too won a ticket to Mr Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. Every time I log on to this site, I find something else I’d like to read. I may not always get my wish, but the list of ‘books’  I receive from these sources grows so quickly that I may not ever get the list fully updated here. However, the titles do get added to my Goodreads bookshelf (Shelf – to-read – on Goodreads.com)

Having taken the time to tidy my physical bookshelves a little, I was quite amazed at the number of physical books that I have yet to read. My family are despairing of my irritating habit of complaining that I have nothing to read and then ordering a new book because that’s what I fancy. I’m sure this is a thing for many readers, but the TBR issue isn’t going away…
